Founded in 2009 by Dr. Lloyd Axworthy, former President of the University of Winnipeg, Spruce Catering was built on a commitment to sustainability, inclusivity, and ethical food practices.

We proudly partner with local farmers and producers, including Prairie Quinoa, DeRuyck’s Top of the Hill Farm, Tamarack Farms, and Wild Earth Farms, Bothwell Cheese, Nature's Farm, and more ensuring that our ingredients are fresh, high-quality, and sourced with care. Purav Patel – Event Sales & Service Manager

From the initial consultation to the final toast, Purav is the driving force behind our client experience. Purav is WSET Level 2 certified, and is an absolute expert in mixology.   His commitment to personalized service ensures that every event is thoughtfully planned, beautifully executed, and stress-free for our clients.
